Background:
Alloy elbow is mainly used as a connecting pipe fitting in pipeline installation, which is used for the connection of pipeline bends. Connect two pipes with the same nominal diameter to make the pipes turn at 90° or other angles. Alloy elbow is a general term for a variety of elbows. It is made of various materials, such as carbon steel, manganese steel, and nickel steel. Alloy elbows are very versatile. Ordinary bronze alloy elbows are more common in general tap water pipes, but with the improvement of living standards, many tap water pipes are switched to stainless steel elbows. Alloy elbows made of manganese steel are usually used in concrete pipelines, mud pipelines and other pipelines with serious wear and consumption due to the excellent performance of manganese steel to withstand impact, extrusion, and material wear. High-manganese steel alloy elbows are used in pipelines with strong fluid flow and strong impact; nickel steel alloy elbows are usually used in high-concentration oxidizing acid (nitric acid, sulfuric acid) and other normal temperature pipelines. However, in the pipeline of reducing acid (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, etc.), it will be severely corroded, unless the concentration of hydrochloric acid is very low; martensitic alloy elbows have high high temperature strength, resistance and water vapor corrosion resistance below 650 ° C ability, but poor weldability. Therefore, it is often used in high temperature water vapor transmission pipelines and water gas pipelines. Executive standards: GB/T12459-2005, GB/T13401, GB/T10752-1999.
